Repertoire: J.S. Bach Brandenburg Concert No. 5 in D Major, BWV 1050 Jenni Brandon, Commission Piece, Meditations on Brandenburg 5

Three of the busiest string players in the Los Angeles classical music scene joined with award-winning pianist, Timothy Durkovic to form CENTRAL4 in 2009. They will collaborate with three additional musicians to perform J.S. Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 5, BWV 1050 as the centerpiece of this concert. In addition, Los Angeles Composer Jenni Brandon’s new piece “Meditations on Brandenburg 5” was commissioned by CENTRAL4 especially for this occasion.
