Announcing Camerata Staff Changes

Long-time staff member, Fawn Gelff is retiring from The Long Beach Camerata Singers on July 28th.  Fawn has worked with Camerata for many years as Payroll Clerk, Box Office Manager and Fundraising Support, first as a volunteer and then as a part time employee. Most recently, Fawn has been instrumental in transitioning Camerata’s box office software from Audience View to Ludus. Her warm, friendly customer service with patrons and her diligence in assisting employees with the ADP payroll system have been greatly appreciated. She will be missed.

Fawn is being replaced in Payroll with our newest staff member, Maribel Rodriguez. Maribel comes to Camerata with direct experience with ADP.

LBCS staff member, Kim Mendez is being promoted to Box Office manager. Kim served as Box Office Assistant for Camerata in the 24-25 season. They bring 2 years experience as Box Office Manager with the Pasadena Playhouse. Kim has been with LBCS for three years as a singer and as a Lead Instructor in the Camerata Children’s Music Academy.

Kim says their goals include working closely with Front of House Manager to streamline operations to maximize efficiency, to create an elevated experience for our patrons and donors from Front Porch Concerts to the Annual Gala, and working with Development and Social Media staffs to help boost ticket sales and grow our donor base.

As we bid farewell to Fawn and wish her well in her future endeavors, please welcome Maribel Rodriguez and Kim Mendez in their new roles with LBCS.
