Public Relations and Digital Marketing Manager

Sarah Len currently works as Public Relations & Digital Marketing Manager with the Long Beach Camerata Singers. In her role she manages the social media platforms for the ensemble, communicates with artistic partners to promote concerts and events, and more. As a singer in the choir for nearly a decade, she is passionate about supporting the mission of the ensemble to enrich the lives of the community and performers through a broad spectrum of repertoire, innovative programming, and arts education. Furthermore, she enjoys finding ways to reach others through music by publicizing upcoming concerts and sharing the unique stories of the talented musicians from all walks of life who perform in the ensemble.

Apart from her responsibilities at Long Beach Camerata Singers, Sarah works as the Community Engagement Specialist in the Department of Cinematic Arts within the College of the Arts at California State University, Long Beach (CSULB). In her role she serves the department by managing the Cinematic Arts website, social media, communications, events, grants, alumni and industry partnerships, scholarships, and more. Sarah is passionate about sharing and elevating student voices within the film department as well as the successes of alums in the film industry. She is a member of the Inclusivity Across All Media (IAAM) department committee where she advocates for inclusive practices and experiences for students in the department and the industry as a whole. Previous to her appointment in the Department of Cinematic Arts, Sarah worked in University Relations & Development at CSULB where she fundraised and provided support to the College of Business, College of Natural Sciences & Mathematics, and general university initiatives.

In addition to working in higher education fundraising and publicity for over a decade, Sarah taught both general music and vocal music in the Long Beach Unified School District at the elementary and middle school level. She is an alumna of the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music and the Single Subject Teaching Credential Program at CSULB.

Sarah continues to use her current and former roles as a development professional and music educator to advocate for the arts and education throughout the Long Beach and surrounding communities.
